1. I learned that Ronnie is black with a funny Grandmother.
2. Jackson Tremaine is NOT black. But he is funny and freaky!
3. I laughed quite a bit reading this book! It was my first by this author and I enjoyed it.
4. Oh and now I want an African Grey Parrot.
Ronnie and Jackson are a couple forged in lust! ! But Ronnie 's book is all about how to keep a man through love and mutual respect, oops. So how did she end up in bed with the hound dog of late night television ? That's just what she asks herself, multiple times and in hilarious ways in Kelley Harvey 's newest, funniest bad boy of a book Love 'em !! As much as Jackson Tremaine tells himself he wants Ronnie for her body, he can't seem to stop thinking about her, or the bet he tricked her into on his show, in front of millions of viewers. If you've never read a Kelley Harvey book, you are in for a massive treat of hot sex, hilarious innuendos and meeting some excellent side characters. 5☆'s the whole way through, can't wait for the second half of this duo Leave ' em.
Putting the pressure on 2 writers to prove who knows what they are talking about becomes more than just a TV programme challenge. A bit of double-crossing, relationships begin and explode and the book gets very interesting. A really good read. I had already read the bonus elsewhere but it was still a good one to include.
Kelley does it again! Another hott read that has you hooked from the first page!! Kelley is one of my favorite authors...because she always knows how to deliver a hot as sin read, but also funny and witty. This book has a great story line with everything you need in a hott read. Can't wait for Leave 'em!
I love Kelley Harvey's books. I know that I'm always in for a wild and hot ride when I pick up her books. Each character is always unique and the witty banter keeps me coming back for more. If you haven't tried her book, you need to pick them up now.
I was enjoying the story until the bet. I read a another story (some time ago) about a bet between friends. That bet made me very angry and for that reason alone I didn't like that particular book. So, this one had me skeptical. I was at the point I almost stopped. This book was not like the other one. For that reason I kept on. The book had quite a few twists and turns. I was kept interested but some of the scenes seemed misguided. Like the author was trying too hard to make it "HOT" that some parts were missed. I didn't have that "connection" with any of the characters. Some parts fell short. It was a quick read. I felt a 3.5 Star rating was fair. I tried staying neutral. I didn't love it nor did I hate it.
Ronnie and Jackson meet while she is a guest on his talk show giving an interview on her book about how to hook a man.With his doubts on the books success, he makes a bet with "love 'em" (his nick-name for her) that she can't make a man fall in love with her that they pick out together. Once he falls for her, then it's time that her best friend "leave 'em" who also writes books about cheating men, that she can't make him cheat on her. Add in a quirky Grandmother, quick tongued Dicky the parrot and lots of STEAMY HOT scenes that Kelley is known for and you have one hell of a good read!!! Jackson is one man that every woman dreams of!!
Long story short...you will not be disappointed in this purchase!
